Locals: Elisa Schenke, Berlin
Our love for staff meetings sit’s somewhere between paying taxes and grocery shopping which is why here at LOVE TWAIN HQ. we have our priorities set. Friday meetings go a little like… 5 minutes spent thoroughly examining sales reports (also known as making your accountant crunch the numbers), 7 minutes of inventory (we stick to a strict schedule), 15 minutes spent arguing over whether to order a chicken or combination Vietnamese roll and the rest of the hour spent on more pressing matters of the heart like travel and whose Instagram account we have been stalking.
Last Friday’s agenda consisted of Berlin + a fellow monochrome addict known to her parents as Elisa but to every other soul that owns a phone as @schwarzersamt.
Now, we will give you a minute to judge us for not having placed Berlin on our itinerary list yet. We would love to insert a legitimate excuse other than all roads lead to Paris… but as the story goes… they really, truly do so we have some ground left to cover. This is where Berlin-based, fashion and marketing student Elisa comes into the picture. While we initially fell for her monochrome obsessed wardrobe because it legitimised every black on black outfit decision ever made, we couldn’t help but fall madly, deeply in love with her perfectly toned Berlin backdrop. Having established that Berlin was next on the agenda, there was only one thing left to do. Ask Elissa where the cool kids hang…

Happy hour must try: Actually I have no idea, but in Neukölln you will find the most unique and cheapest bars.
Easiest way of getting around: In summer by bike, in Winter the underground, the S bahn isn’t reliable
The fashion here is: Sneaker instead of high heels, urban, understatement and effortless, at least it should look like this.
